I did a very CAS card today to showcase the Kindness Matters stamp set.  I stamped it in Versafine Black Onyx on Blushing Bride pink cardstock and colored it in with distress markers and aqua markers.  I love the brightness of the flowers and leaves against the light pink background.

4CC #359 Summer Celebrations {Nance}

Happy Thursday!  

 Wow!  It's almost mid-July already!  Time is flyin'!  I've been MIA for a couple weeks.  Hubs and I went on a FABULOUS vaca to Arizona and then of course, I needed a week to recoup when we returned.  

 Today I'm hostess in the Hen House and my theme for this week is
4CC #359 Summer Celebrations

 Interpret that in many ways --- summer birthdays, vacations, reunions, camp, festivals, etc.
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Sea Life (I think it is an old set from My Favorite Things).  Sentiment (Your Next Stamp).
Paper: Watercolor paper and teal cardstock.  Spectrum Noir white cardstock.
Ink: Spectrum Noir markers, Versamark, Distress Inks (for watercolor background).
Extras:  White emboss powder; Swirl cover plate (Lil' Inker Designs); Scallop stitched frame (Pretty Pink Posh), Washi tape die (MFT).

The Challenge #91

Good morning again!

This is an edited version.  I discovered my dear little kitten, upon jumping onto my laptop, deleted the first part of my post here!  
Bella, Bella, Bella!
Today The Challenge 
is a 
Sketch Challenge!




I started subscribing to Hero Arts monthly kit and last month's kit was an African/safari/Serengeti set. I hadn't had a chance to play with it since we have been on vacation and then settling back in reality once home.  So I used it for this week's card for The Challenge.  I sponged the background first then stamped everything in Versafine Black Onyx for a silhouette look.  I chose mostly elephants (the hub's favorite) and a couple monkeys.  One monkey is catching a ride on an elephant.

Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - July 2017!

Happy Thursday everyone!

 Can you believe it's almost the middle of July????  Time is going way too fast!  I've been MIA from blogland for a while.  The Hubs and I went for a much needed vacation in Arizona for nine days and it's like the minute the plane landed at RDU on July 2nd, reality just slammed right into us and we've hit the ground running.  Finally got the new roof.  Got a new kitten as well.  She's 10 weeks old and she hasn't slept through the night yet, and so neither have I!   The dog is thrilled, the older cat is pissed. And we are now into "operation clean out and purge before remodeling" mode.  I think I'd rather go back to Arizona! 

 I will introduce the kitten, Annabella, Bella for short, as she "helped" me with my planner ---


 








And now that I've I digressed---

Paper Sweeties July 2017 Inspiration Challenge

Happy July Everyone!

The Hubs and I have been on vacation so I did not have a chance to make a new card designed for today's challenge. So, I am sharing a blast from my past, a card from last June's Release (2016) that fits pretty well with this month's inspiration challenge too!  I am hoping once I am home and back into the groove I can make a new card to share with you later this month.  Until then, I hope you enjoy my repeat!



We would love for you to join us this month using our inspirational photo!  You don't have to use Paper Sweeties products but we love it when you do!
