Clownin'

Happy Sunday!

It's a chilly one here in North Carolina.  Had to turn the heat on for a few minutes this morning.  Brrrr!

I guess it's true what they say, if you are from the north and transplant south, sooner or later, your blood thins and what used to be "cool" becomes downright frigid!  It's really not that bad, particularly when you have hot flashes, but who doesn't like a little early morning whine to get the blood flowing?  hahaha

Before I get to the main topic, just want to mention -- have you seen my blog makeover?  I just love it!  If you like it, check out Dutch Lady Digi Design!  She even made over my Facebook page to match!

Now to the matter at hand, it's cupcake day!  That should warm the cockles of the heart! :)

Guest Designing for Paper Sweeties October Inspiration #24- Happy Fall

Hello Everyone!
Today is the 1st day of October!
Wow!

I'm very excited today because I am the Guest Designer for October at Paper Sweeties!

Here is this month's inspiration:

What a fabulous inspirational photo with lots of fall goodies to inspire you!  The challenge lasts all month so you have plenty of time to play and you can play as many times as you want, with new projects each time you play.  Playing more means more chances to be a Guest Designer yourself and also the recipient of a $20 gift certificate to the Paper Sweeties shop online.

I received the honor of Guest Designer, along with a $20 gift certificate to shop at Paper Sweeties, by winning Paper Sweeties' August monthly challenge.  Thank you, Debbie!  You can see my winning card here

Below is my Guest Designing card for this month's challenge:

I had so much fun making all the sweet fall elements for my card.  Is that scarecrow not the cutest thing?  His flower is even a small Paper Sweeties die!  I paper pieced part of the scarecrow's outfit --- the green overalls and green piece of his hat with some Bazzill Basics patterned paper then colored the rest of him with Copics Sketch markers.  I used the Paper Sweeties Stand Add-On: Scarecrow stamp set, Sweeties Wagon stamp set, Wagon Add-On: Bloom & Grow stamp set, Sweeties Wagon Sweet Cuts, Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts and topped off my card with some Paper Sweeties Creamsicle seam binding.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Now check out all of the fabulous inspiration from the Paper Sweeties Design Team!

Awesome Practice

September is almost done!  Can you believe it?
I'm still on summer mode!

However, presently I'm in Wild Wonderful West Virginia (my childhood home state) where the leaves are beginning to burst with color painting the mountains with bright hues of reds, orange sand yellows!  So, it may very well get me into fall.  At home in central NC, our leaves don't turn until mid-late October and depending upon how hot/rainy our summer is, sometimes, our leaves just turn brown and fall off.  So it's nice to see the color change begin.

But I digress...
Today also brings another {PIN}spirational Challenge!

If you can tell by our inspirational photo ---
our challenge this week is

Create whatever you want from whatever inspiration you get!
