Hello there!
Hope you are doing well. I have a new post today. It's Thursday and theres a new challenge over at Seize The Birthday and I am the hostess! The Topping I chose was "Feature An Animal". Everyone likes birthday cards with cute little critters on them. So I hope you will play along with us!
I created my card with a special person in mind, my youngest son, Ben. His birthday was in April and he loves foxes, the Channel Island foxes to be exact. So, I knew this birthday I had to give him a fox on his card. The fox die I used is by Birch Press Design. I cut out the pieces and then ink blended them with Catherine Pooler inks. My background originally was different with embossed birch trees but I messed up and did them upside down so I went with this birch tree die instead infront of an inkblended sky.
Be sure and stop by the STB blog and check out the rest of the team's cards and leave them some blog love. Then, come play along. If you're not into the Toppings you can play in our Anything Goes challenge just keep it birthday themed. Hope to see you there!

That red fox is a standout on this background. Even though it's an April birthday card I think it's a nice winter scene. I hope your son loved it.
Nance, Your card is just darling and your shading on the fox is just perfect! I know Ben loved it! It is going to be a fun gallery with such a great Topping!
The die cut trees work fine with this amazing fox, Nance! I'm glad I'm not the only one that still gets things upside down and sometimes backwards too!
Your red fox looks right at home in that birch tree die cut forest. Your shading looks great on the fox and I like his blue balloon.
Your fox is blended so beautifully and looks great in front of the birch trees. Thanks for the challenge. Have a nice weekend.
Beautifully coloured fox Nance, love the background too, thankyou for the fun challenge, Cathy x
Your fox looks quite majestic and the background is fab! I love this Topping!
What a striking card, Nance! I love that fox, and I bet your son did too!
Wow! That fox and their balloon look so great, I almost didn't notice what was in the background!! But the birches look great (glad I noticed!) Happy birthday to your youngest - anyone who loves foxes is smart and amazing!!
Your fox is absolutely stunning! Love the rich colours. Great choice of background & the ballon is a great addition.
