Hello there!
I'm so happy to be back here again! If you saw my last post in August, you know I had a 2nd surgery on my right hand, which set me back a bit over the past two months. I wasn't fully back to the beginning so that was good, but I still had not been able to do alot of intricate things with my hand until now. It's still only about 85%. My surgeon says in another month I should be at least 20% better than that. I sure hope so. At any rate I've ben given the GO to do normal things including crafting!
And it's just in time as today there is a new challenge up at Seize The Birthday and I am the Hostess! YAY! I have chosen the Topping to be Geometric with Word Dies. Little did I know when I chose that theme that it would be the easiest for me to get back into crafting right now. My handwriting is still atrocious so I have not tried coloring yet. Stamping will be easier yet probably quickly tiring.
So here is my card I created:
I will confess, I already had the geometric background in my stash, which began my process. The Happy Birthday word die (Waffle Flower I think)was already on my table. And that adorable dragon with balloon (Spellbinders) was also on my table in my "new to me pile". I may have been laid up with a bum hand, but it didn't stop me from slowly shopping one handed for some new products to have once I could be fully back! A girl has to have priorities! Hahaha. The patterned paper is from a Halloween pack by Catherine Pooler and I believe the postage die is also Catherine Pooler. I did emboss the balloon for a little more texture and it is an oldie but goodie by Sizzix.
